Diagnosing Cluser Issues

This is a general question . Kind of an opinion poll

In general, when you had issues with your cluster (which includes ASM) , which of the following logs did u find the most useful
Is it the alert log located in ORA_CRS_HOME/log/<HOSTNAME>/alerthostname.log  ?
Is it the crsd.log ?
Is it the occsd.log ?
is it the evm.log ?
I am talking about issues in Cluster ; for example, resources like ASM instance , VIP , ... not coming up after reboot.
I have encountered issues in CRS where none of the above mentioned logs were helpful in identifying the root cause of issue.
