DHCP or Static IP Address

I have installed the Enterprise Linux and it is working fine. (Thanks to this forum)
During Oracle 10G, it was asking to having Static IP address with DHCP on,...I could not install OUI.

And I changed DHCP to static by creating new ethernet line as "eoth:1" in Network control panel. I have also enabled the flag to activate during reboot.

But, both of DHCP & Static are inactive mode. I need to manually enable static wot work on Internet.

Please let me know, what I need to do.
