DHCP and unknown hostname with Solaris 9

Hi everyone,

Basically I have installed Solaris 9 and have not specified a naming service as I am using it within a Windows workgroup env...Its a simple network at home.

However, the installation did not ask me for a hostname, also the DHCP service I am using does not provide me with a hostname. Hence I am getting the hostname of my machoine set to "unknown".

I have looked for days on resolving this problem and nothing has worked so far...Does anyone have a solid step-by-step solution to this very common problem...
