Denes's Ajax Filter Shuttle List not working in IE

Denes Kubicek's Ajax Filter Shuttle List does not work in IE. It hanged but no error was thrown and I had to use Task Manager to end the process. However, when I ran the same ajax routine in Firefox, it worked fine. I have Apex 3.0 and IE 7. Any help on this issue?
