Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,


I need your help in one big problem :) I want to create an application in Delphi 4 in Windows XP that is somehow linked to a database. Everything (client, server, database and others...) must be installed on the SAME computer. This is a project that I have to do for school.

Can anyone tell me what technologies I must use in order to do such thing ?
I am a newbie in database applications and every detail (products names and versions, order of instalation and so on) that you can offer me will be usefull.
