Delivers problem with iBots (10g)

I am new to OBIEE and am doing the Oracle by Example Tutorials (using version 10.1.3.4). I am currently doing
'Sending Alerts Using Oracle Business Intelligence Delivers' and the section on 'Creating and Delivering an iBot'.

Within Delivers/Edit My Account I have setup my email and delivery profiles. However it gives an
error
System Delivery Profile not available:
Error finding SA System subject area. See the Oracle BI Presentation Server log for details.


Also when I tried to save the iBot it gave me the error:
Oracle BI Scheduler Error: [nQSError: 68019] Authentication Failed
Error Codes: GYFPI8RN

I found some information on the forums that advised to go into the Job Manager/Config Options/Scheduler/General tab and remove the Administrator password. I did that and I was able to save the iBot. However it did not generate and email or alert.

I read about a utility called cryptotools. I found this however when I try to run it a dos window
appears on the screen only briefly then disappears again!

I do not have the SA System subject area setup. Do I need this to get the iBot to work? Or should I be able to use it without it? If so please can anyone advise how to do this? Also any suggestions of what could be wrong with cryptotools?
