Deleting MLOG$ tables after breaking up replikation

789857Oct 27 2011 — edited Oct 27 2011
Hi,

i have to administrate an old oracle 9i server. 2 years ago, there was akitivated a replikation of production data to a statistic server. This statistic server "died" and the users do their statistics on the production database because the machine is strong enough.
Now the material view logs (MLOG$) on the production server grow up to millions of entries, because they get no "refresh complete" from the died stats server.

Is it save to "delete" (remove by enterprise manager) this MLOG$ tables or is it possible, that they are used for other things than replication?
There are no materialized views on the machine itself!

regards michael

p.s. the software engineer which configured the server and developed the packages is no longer in our company ;(
