user7202581Mar 13 2013 — edited Mar 13 2013
Hi,

I have a .dat file which is around 10GB and I need to delete the following value.

ts^03-04-2013 08:05^sasbsd00^BCSD^TS_DATA^PERM/LOCAL/AUTO^77^23.8125^53.125^68.99350649350649350649350649ts^03-13-2013 08:05^sasbsp00^ARCH^SYSTEM^PERM/DICT^256^29.16796
875^226.828125^88.604736328125^54.3928542399469828752416303540812936405^1024^768

I'm trying to use the grep -v to delete but somehow it doesn't seem to be working.

Please advise.

Regards,
Narayan
