Deleting application from runtime environment

Does anyone know how to go about removing an application from the runtime APEX environment?
There doesn't seem to be a suitable function in APEX_INSTANCE_ADMIN.

I guess deleting the entry from the WWV_FLOWS table would propbably prevent it from running, but obviously this would leave most of the application in place.
