Twice in the last two days one of our developers has used the Delete Working Copy option on the Working Copy menu, with the result being an error message and the catastrophic disappearance of other applications.
These issues occurred about 36 hours apart, and there is nothing else significant in the log at these times.
The second time, application 150 disappeared. This was the main app for the working copy that was being deleted.
However, on the first occasion, it was application 100 that disappeared after an attempt to delete a working copy on application 180 failed. We initially put this down to a developer inadvertently deleting app 100. After the second occurrence we reviewed the logs and found the same error around an hour before it was noticed that app 100 was missing. Application 100 is the master app for the system which other apps subscribe to for standard theme, security, list, and other shared components, so would be referenced multiple times by both app 180 and its working copy.
This has cost us a day and half in lost work.
I've found identical error messages for two different sessions in APEX_WORKSPACE_ACTIVITY_LOG:

As it was the same developer on both occasions could it be related to their working practices, something like opening App Builder in multiple browser tabs?
