Delete trace file manually

Hi all,

i had a problm today and after that a trace file bacame huge (5 gb)
what if i manually delete this? will it cause a problem, what should i do to remove it?

Note that, currently i have a serious ora-00600 issue which prevents me from connecting the database.thats why i consider deleting the file manually.
