Delete Problem on GUI's run on Solaris

Hi, I have created an application in Java and I am using Macrovision InstallAnywhere to package the application together so it can be installed on a users machine.

The problem I have is that when I run a Solaris GUI installer of my product it won't let me use the backspace or delete key on data that I have mistakenly entered.

Can anyone tell me if this is a Solaris problem or a Macrovision problem? Does it happen to other applications on Solaris machines?
