delete files due to failed installation of Oracle 10g on Linux

759937Mar 13 2010 — edited Apr 6 2010
Dear Experts,
I am a beginner. I was trying to install oracle 10g on Linux but it failed. Can I delete /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1 directory using "rm command" when there are no products installed? However, I was able to successfully install oracle 10g in a new oracle_home = /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_2. Please help.
Thanks!
