Delete applied archivelogs in Physical Standby

In a 11.2.0.4 One Primary-Physical Standby environment setup, already applied archive logs in Standby FRA are not deleted automatically until it runs out of space.

Primary :

CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO APPLIED ON ALL STANDBY;

Standby:

CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO APPLIED ON STANDBY;

I had to manually delete applied archive logs from standby to resolve space pressure. Is there a way to automatically delete the applied logs other than manual? Please share your ideas.
