delete an item

Hi all,

I have a query regarding when item in object navigator is deleted??

Let me explain what i did . First i made a data block using data block wizard and select all columns and then invoke layout editor wizard and set layout for all the items.

Now , I want to remove a column say location . what i did i select frame and go to layout wizard and deselect that field , then i go to data block wizard in reentrant mode and deselect that field. Everything is ok. that item is not displaying in layout editor and is not coming in data block as well.

The problem is when i open object navigator it still exists under that data block node with having canvas set to null and database item set to NO.

Can anybody tell me why it is not deleted from object navigator..
