Degree Symbol in table

776126Dec 20 2011 — edited Dec 20 2011
Hi friends,

Is it possible to insert degree symbol in table?

I tried with alt+276. it got automatically converted to ? mark.

I'm using Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.2.0 - 64bi

The datatype of the column in which i tried to insert degree symbol is VARCHAR2.

Please help me on this if there is any way around to have inserted degree symbol in oracle table.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Jeyanthi
