Defining author in liquibase changelog

Ming Hang PoonMar 20 2025

I just started to use the liquibase within SQLcl and I am trying to set up the changeset author. I have try to set up the liquidbase.properties file within SQLcl but it doesn't seems like it is working. The author is still showing something like “UID (Generated)”.

Current :
<?xml version="1.1" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>

<databaseChangeLog xmlns="http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog" xmlns:ext="http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog-ext" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog-ext http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog/dbchangelog-ext.xsd http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog/dbchangelog-latest.xsd">

\<changeSet author="**UID (generated)**" id="1742504365446-1">

Goal :
<?xml version="1.1" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>

<databaseChangeLog xmlns="http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog" xmlns:ext="http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog-ext" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog-ext http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog/dbchangelog-ext.xsd http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog http://www.liquibase.org/xml/ns/dbchangelog/dbchangelog-latest.xsd">

\<changeSet author="**User A**" id="1742504365446-1">
