DefaultStyle for Dashboards - instanceconfig.xml and filemap.xml

Trying to set the default style for the Dashboards to a custom-created style. Trying everythng --

In filemap.xml I set: <Styles Default="s_mystyle"/>

and in instanceconfig.xml I set: <DefaultStyle>mystyle</DefaultStyle>

Neither seems to take effect upon restart. The style exists, and I can pick it from the list and apply it to a Dashboard, but it is not the Default selection in the list.

Any suggestions?
