Default value for a date parameter

Hello,

I'm using Discoverer 6i, and I've got a problem with a date parameter. I want to set a default vallue por this parameter, which would be the sysdate.
I tried setting the default value of this parameter to the following list, without any results :
$$DATE$$
sysdate

Does anyone have a tip for this ?
