Default message() functionality. Forms 11.1.2

Hi

I have an issue with the message() built in and its interaction with system message display.

Where multiple messages are to be displayed in close proximity (in recent versions) the 2nd and subsequent messages are displayed in an alert box in the middle of the screen.

In a current system I am migrating, these often informational messages are appearing in an alert that looks like an error message (red circle with a white X in it in the alert).

While I could create on-error and on-message triggers, all the functionality I really want is to change the alert type for these cases where the message built-in is diverted to an alert.

Does anyone please have any suggestions as to how I might achieve this?
