Default Listner

Hi,

I have install oracle database 12c.... enterprise edition... on windows 2012 R2...

My concepts are very vague about listener just wanted to clear them out...

1 - by default listener is set after database is installed... i didn't create any listener using net manager or net configuration assistant...? is it correct?

2 - when i open NETCA and try to create a listener it seems that i am create a listener for the first time... every option was greyed out accept for create new listener options... if i am creating a listener for the first time... what do i see when i use "lsnrctl status/start/stop"?
