Default Frequency of Scenario "Actual" set to YTD

Hi,

I am quite new to HFM, so my question may appear very basic.

If I have set the "Default Frequency" for actual to YTD, can I still load each month's YTD amounts to the month period?

One part of the company provide YTD amounts each month and the other part only on each quarter. So I am thinking the default requency should be set to YTD.
