Decoding Hex Certificate

I have outputted the contents of an x509 id certificate into its hex value, How can I translate/pull from the hex output the following information from the hex certificate string:

Serial Number:
Issuer Name:
Validity Period:
Subject Name: (Distinguished Name(DN)

Any example would be very usefull,
