Decimal values .0000000001 are getting stored even though non-decimal numbers are entered.

Hi, I will be really glad if anybody is able to solve my issue.

We have an HFM application 11.1.2.3.702 for client.

Until recently our user tried to enter data into a forecast data form and realized that for some accounts, even though user is entering a whole integer(non-decimal) eg. 59884, when the data is submitted, it appears as decimal i.e 59884.0000000001 in excel formula bar.

the above issue is for account A for October month.

for Account B for Month Feb, we input 81699 and it becomes 81699.0000000002 after submitting.

The same issue happens in other accounts but for different months.

This happens only for particular cells. like for Account A it happens in Oct, for Account B it will be in Feb, for Account C it will be in Dec etc.

whatever number we input, it either gets added or subtracted by 0.0000000001 or 0.0000000002.

we are unable to get the cause for this reason hence unable to resolve this issue.

We have checked the cell information and smartview options. everything seems to be normal.

The value displayed in workspace data form is normal i.e 59884, however this decimals can only be seen in excel formula bar or in cell information in workspace.

we are submitting a non- decimal number but it automatically gets converted into decimal while submitting.

Note: we are entering data into the base level and hence no rule is getting run while submitting.

Kindly advise.
