'DD-MON-YY' (string) format to 'YYYY-MM-DD'(date) format conversion.

Hi All,

we have an input coming in string format as '24-Aug-14' and we need to insert it into DB which expects it in date format as 'YYYY-MM-DD'.

Please suggest how to convert this in xslt or any other better way.
