dbx fails to attach

Hi,

does anybody know what the reason might be that I get the following error message:
root@azalin:~$ dbx /opt/local/sbin/sysstatd `pgrep sysstatd`
dbx: PcsPD::new_from_pid(): cannot attach -- process consistently in PR_PCINVAL condition

Is there a way to work around this issue?

Any input would be highly appreciated!
