DBV: the amount of space used is not equal to block size

CommitManApr 6 2010 — edited Apr 8 2010
I'm getting this message in a DBV log:

DBVERIFY - Verification starting : FILE = c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\oradata\SE\USERS01.DBF
Block Checking: DBA = 17609764, Block Type = KTB-managed data block
data header at 0x1286264
kdbchk: the amount of space used is not equal to block size
used=6670 fsc=0 avsp=1675 dtl=8088
Page 832548 failed with check code 6110

I've recreated the table with a "create table as select" and dropped the old one but I still get this message on the same block.

How can it be?
