"dbstart" command error in Oracle10g_Linux

Hi,
i am running my oracle 10g in linux and after starting the listener, when i try to start the database using
"dbstart" command, i get following error
"Failed to auto-start Oracle Net Listene using /ade/vikrkuma_new/oracle/bin/tnslsnr"

i really have no idea what is this error and how to solve this erorr.

Can someone help please.
