DBMS_STATS.GATHER_TABLE_STATS cascade option

Hi there.

I have a discussion going on here with DBA´s. The topic is DBMS_STATS.GATHER_TABLE_STATS cascade option.

My point is that I´m assuming that when cascade option = true it will also fix all tables related to the table i´m gathering statistics.

Dba´s are saying that it´s not going to happen.

Could you guys please post your analyses?
