dblink and synonym error

667909Oct 30 2008 — edited Oct 30 2008
Hi,

We´re experiencing some random errors on a 11g Oracle Database when selecting data from a synonym that points to another database through a Dblink. It´s about "There is no more data to read from socket" and after trying some tests we detect that if we change field list from Select clause by "*", it returns no error. Otherwise, connection is crashed and we must reconnect. After googling, it seems to be related to ARRAY SIZE leaving OALL8 unavailable.

I´d go to a JDBC5 or JDBC6 bug but i´g no pretty sure.

Any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

David
