Has any one Configured GG 12.3 on Exadata and created sub-directories on DBFS (RDBMS 12.2) ?
I have 4 setups with GoldenGate 12.3 with DBFS created on RDBMS 12.2 on exadata and non-exadata, all are working fine. Until you try to drop and re-create any extract process.
The moment you drop the extract and tries to create new with register extract command, it throws error -
Unable to lock file xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/extt1.cpe" (error 95, Operation not supported).
And from that point onwards, you can't stop,start, drop extract. You have to rm -rf .cpe file and restart DBFS and mgr process to fix the issue.
Unfortunately its exact same issue on exadata, non-exadata, source db being 11.2 or 12.2.
Found following article which says contact storage team which I think on Exadata its oracle support

I have raised SR with support but that is running at slow pace and will take a while until I hear something.
All the setup (GG, DBFS , FUSE) are done using MAA documents and metalink notes and best practices.
