DBCA errors after Oracle install

OS: Oracle Linux 6.6

Oracle DB version: 11.2.0.1.0

Problem: I was able to install oracle database without a problem, I chose not to create the database at the time of oracle install. After the successful install of oracle, I tried to create a database using DBCA. I kept getting following errors:

ORA-09925: Unable to create Audit Trail File
ORA-01017: Invalid username/password. Login denied
ORA-01031: Insufficient Privileges
ORA-01012: Not logged on
ORA-01034: Oracle Not available
ORA-27101: Shared Memory Realm does not exist.

Please let me know if you need additional information.
