DBCA 12.1.0.2 doesn't allow deselect database options

Hello,

After a successful software installation on IBM AIX 7.1 I started the database creation using DBCA

I noticed that in the "Database Options" section, all the components are selected and the checkboxes are diables so I can't deslect any component.

I found MOS Doc ID 1590570.1 and it seems like this is by design.

1. Does anyone knows what's the reason for this?

2. Has anyone found a workaround for this issue? I prefer not to install unnecessary components ...
