db2 error - Invalid conversion

I am trying to insert new row in the db2 table, via websphere application, using jdbc prepared statement. I am getting following error:

COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2Exception: [IBM][CLI Driver] CLI0102E Invalid conversion. SQLSTATE=07006

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
