Db start/shutdown scripts

Hi:

I am on 10.2.0.3, hp-ux.

Can someone point me out to a source with dbstart/dbshut scripts (or share their own) ?

I have basic stuff but would like to augment it with checking if DB was actually shutdown (or script will use abort) - and the like.
