DB Locked Up - Disk out of Space

485418May 22 2009 — edited May 22 2009
My regularly scheduled backup failed last night. (We changed system passwords and I didn't think to create a new backup with the new password.)

Now my root (/) drive on my Linux system is full and my DB won't run. I think I should be able to just delete the archive logs, but I'm pretty sure that will just create another problem.

How should I address this situation?

Thanks ever so much,

Gregory
