Should "DB Link" which is stated wisely as "prepared integration methods", should they be decommissioned fully in the name of "Industry Standard" and moved to Microservices even though the service is not across the web and even though the only service is to move data (lift and shift) without any transformation? How would a microservice benefit (in this case) where a higher volume of data transfer is lifted from DB-A and converted to JSON/XML and then dumped into DB-B by converting back to rows? How is a microservice doing any good here in comparison to the "prepared integration methods"?
