DB just shuts down randomly without reason

Hi all,

I am facing a very strange from with my 10g Rel 1 server. For some reason, I dont know why - the DB suddenly shuts down. And below error is logged in the alert.log

Errors in file *:\oracle\product\10.1.0\admin\qaora10g\udump\qaora10g_ora_***.trc
ORA-01089: immediate shutdown in progress - no operations are permitted
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_AQ", line 577
ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.EMD_NOTIFICATION", line 492
ORA-06512: at line 1

I have now seen this quite a few times and I dont understand as to what can be the problem. This seems happening on very random basis, or something else running on the system may be causing this? Any indications to what can the problem be and how to resolve it will be greatly appreciated.
