DB_CACHE_SIZE TO BE CHANGED

592323Mar 10 2008 — edited Mar 10 2008
hi,

The awr report shows that the buffer hit ration is 50%.So i need to increase the db cache size of the database. So what are the steps I need to follow to have a successful configuration of the db_cache_size parameter.

How can i know that the how much SGA_MAX_SIZE is available so that i can accomodate it?What is the case if the buffer hit is 50% if AMM is enabled?

Can anyone suggest me some links where i can find some useful information?

Thanks
