Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes for New Zealand (NZ)

807574Oct 3 2007 — edited Feb 10 2020
From this year, Daylight Saving Time will run for a period of 27 weeks in New Zealand. It now commences from the last Sunday in September, when 2.00am becomes 3.00am, and ends on the first Sunday in April the following year, when 3.00am becomes 2.00am.
* Daylight Saving will commence on Sunday 30 September 2007, and end on 6 April 2008.

The timezone information in the timezones.ics file for auckland NZ doesn't appear to be correct.

When placing a new event in calendar, and we set the event for 1 hr commencing 3.00pm and we invite a user - they get an invite in their inbox but it sets an appointment for 4.00-5.00pm in exchange. (out by 1 hr).

We are on java version 1.3.1_19.

Is there anything that needs to be changed for the DST in NZ?

Thank you.
Arlett
