Date-Problem : Exporting to Excel

Pls remark : I've also posted this question in the discoverer-Forum

The same problem as described at the bottom appears in out forms-application.

When exporting to Excel the dates in Excel are shown : "mm.dd.yy"

1) I've checked the format in the administrator (BA). It's set to DD.MM.YYYY.
2) I've checked the workmap. Its definitely set to DD.MM.YYYY.
3) I've checked the lokal-pc region settings. They are okay, set to German.

I've exported to csv, html. The date-format is shown in dd.mm.yyyy.

When I export to Excel I get date in the format : mm.dd.yyyy !!
Can anyone help me out ???

Do I have to look in the discoverer settings, report-server settings or where can I find the cause of the problem ???
