date picker calender for netbeans

I am new to java and netbeans. I want to have a date picker for user to select date. I found jcalendar which is free. But does not know how to use it because i really new to java programming. can i use the jcalender with netbean 5.0? How to use the calendar? May be a bit more detail explanation are needed.
