below are the two queries with output, first query output i am able to understand but not the second one.
can someone please tell me the difference between fmDdspth and fmJspth formats.
1)select to_char(sysdate,'fmDdspth "of" Month YYYY') from dual;
O/P:
Eighteenth of January 2015
2)select to_char(sysdate,'fmJspth "of" Month YYYY') from dual;
O/P:
Two Million Four Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Forty-First of January 2015
one more question i want to convert these outputs back to the date.
e.g. o/p 18-01-2015
how to write this in a query.
