DataPump remap_schema did NOT copy object privileges

752671Feb 9 2010 — edited Feb 10 2010
I have been searched for a while to see if there's any document regarding to this behavior, but I couldn't.

This is what happened. I did a expdp and impdp with remap_schema, for the purpose to update the username (per new naming standard); As expected the new username (schema) was created, all granted roles, sys privs, user objects were there.

But the object privileges were not. Eg. user B grants select on B.FOO to A; remap_schema from A to C, but the select on B.FOO was not applied to C.

Did anyone have the same problem? this is NOT in the document and I don't understand why only "object privs" were not copied, while all others are.

Thanks...
