Dataguard Sequence Gap problem

We are still on Oracle 11GR2.

Had a Dataguard set up between PROD -> DR, received some sequence Gap recently, tried the oracle solution :

1. Manually copy the missing *.dbf archive log from PROD to DR, also did the alter database register logfile

2. Got an error of 308 and telling me - File header corrupted

Anyone ran into the similar issue before? any advice how can I bring the DR back?
