Dataguard replication between 32bit and 64 bit database

2651942Apr 10 2014 — edited Apr 10 2014

Hi All

I'm new to Oracle and this is my first post, so please take easy on me. Thank you.

I've googled for quite sometime and check out the Oracle documentation, maybe I just don't know where to look. If there are existing documentation that covers my situation please point me to it. Thanks.

This is my particular situation:

We have 3 servers

serverA: Windows server 2003 R2 32 bit with oem 10g

serverB: Windows server 2003 R2 32 bit with Oracle database 11gR2

serverC: Windows server 2003 R2 64 bit with Oracle database 11gR2 64 bit and agent 10g 64bit

Is it possible to have serverB as the primary database and serverC as physical standby database?

Is it possible to have dataguard to replicated data between them or just one way replication from 32 bit to 64 bit?

Any assistance is much appreciated.
