Database upgrade to 12.2.0.1 (CDB Vs Non-CDB)

3336304Sep 27 2017 — edited Oct 16 2017

We are planning to upgrade one of our database to 12.2.0.1. Our current DB version is 10.2.0.3 and database is around 6TB. Also we are planning to upgrade all of our databases to 12.2.0.1. Found a documentation note "https://docs.oracle.com/database/122/UPGRD/deprecated-features-oracle-database-12c-r2.htm#UPGRD-GUID-23F9C9D3-4267-4638-824D-C198D042B05B", which says NON-CDB database was deprecated and can be de-supported and unavailable after 12c Release 2.

1. Is there any article which says about a definite date of de-support of non-cdb architecture ?
2. Should we go with CBD databases or Non-CDB in-terms of de-support from Oracle in near future?
