we have 4 front-ends Weblogic 10.3.5.0 in Solaris 10 and we are planning to migrate from 11gr2 Forms & Report (basic license) to Forms 12c.
Our Forms application works with a 3 node RAC database . Where do i have to place the mandatory repository (RCU)? Is a good, or bad idea place the RCU in the same database where application retrieve the data and pl/sql programs? If is a bad idea , what could be the better topology and what are the requirements ? I can´t find documentation where see different scenarios, only i know that i must to have a certified database.
