Database Migration from Oracle Linux to Suse linux

Hi ,

We need to migrate Database (11.2.0.3) from OEL "Oracle Linux Server release 5.9" to Target system "Suse Linux" (which will be on 12c).

We will use RMAN for migrating these database and after restore will open it in upgrade mode on target system to upgrade it to 12c.

Endian format of both is Little and both are of Linux Platform,is there any conversion of source datafiles required for performing RMAN operation or we can proceed with usual RMAN restore process?
