Database migration between SUSE and Red Hat

Hi.

Is there a supported way to migrate a 9.2.0.5 database or preferably an entire 11.5.9 Oracle Applications installation from SUSE SLES 8 to Red Hat or vice versa? The installation CDs simply say "Linux Intel" and do not specify any particular distribution.

It would be nice to have that option and be able to avoid a costly and time-consuming export/import. Has anything official been said regarding this? Thanks.
